Lake Rules & Prices
Rules for Welbeck Lake.
Respect
Please respect the lake, the fish, the other anglers and also my neighbours when entering and leaving the fishery. (No high beams to be used if it's dark when arriving or leaving. No sounding of horns. Please be respectful of all other road users on the lane.)
Please be respectful during the hours of darkness to other fishermen, my neighbours and my property with noise levels and when using any kind of torches/phones ect.
Particles
Sweetcorn can be used.
ONLY, particles purchased from my fishery are to be used. These can be Preordered 24 hrs in advance. These are limited to 2 kgs per angler and are £5 a kilo and are subject to availability. All other particles are banned. Anyone found using particles brought in from outside my fishery will be asked to leave and not offered a refund!
Bait
High-quality Boilie and Aller Aqua Pellets to be used. Strictly no nuts or tiger nuts!
Other pellets may be allowed only with prior permission from myself.
Aller Aqua pellets are available to purchase in advance or on the day on-site.
Prices for 6mm, 8mm, 11mm or mixed pellets are,
£5 per kilo,

5 kilos focollect
I also stock a range of Enigma Baits on site.
The boilies are,

Rigs & general fishing
Zigs are permitted as well as pop-ups, wafters etc.
Rig tubing to be used, (minimum of 12")
2-rod limit.
Carp Rods Only (2.5lb test curve minimum).
Butt grips are compulsory and are available to buy from my shop if you require any. These will be £5 for 1, £9 for 2 or 3 for £12.
Minimum line 12lb.
No braided mainline (only permitted in conjunction with spods/ markers etc).
Micro barb and Barbless hooks only.
No fixed rigs.
Rigs must lose the lead or hooklink if snagged. (No lead drop offs allowed)
Regular Rig checks will take place.
Float (wagler) fishing is allowed.
Floating baits are allowed in moderation (no large amounts of floating baits to be used)
Carp-care required to treat any sign of damage.
Fish only from designated swims.
Sack any fish if the fish needs to recover.
All fishermen must always stay within one peg of your unattended rods.
Equipment
Please respect all my equipment that I have provided for you all to use.
All unhooking Mats, Cradles, and Slings are supplied by me.
(Please leave yours at home or in your vehicle)
There is a communal barrow for all to use, situated at the entrance of the lake. Please return it to the entrance of the lake for the next person to use before you commence fishing.
Please inform me or my bailiff of any damage to the equipment supplied by me, ASAP.
Bivvy's may be hired (subject to availability) at £10 per night or £15 erected.
24hrs notice, minimum for bivvy hire.

No bait boats permitted.
No tents are allowed.
No drones.
No open fires allowed unless they are in a contained chiminea which we have a limited number available to hire with wood. (pre-booking is required, £10 per session. Additional bags of wood are available at £5 a bag)

BBQ's are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground, not on any woodwork and above any of the stoned areas.
General
Strictly no swimming in the lake.
The rowing boat is for staff use only!
Strictly no antisocial behaviour.
No guns or knives with blades longer than 4 inches to be brought onto the premises.
No drug use or dealing.
All visitors and viewings are strictly by appointment only.
Prior arrangement and permission to be sought from the owner for all visitors and viewings.
Please drink responsibly and not excessively.
No loud music.
Dogs are welcome with prior notice, but must remain with the owner and be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Do not allow your dogs to run on the bunds.
Any dogs seen by myself on CCTV, or by my bailiff, running on the bunds and not under full control, the owners will be asked not to return to the fishery with their dogs.
Any owners of dogs found not cleaning up after their dog has fouled, will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return with their dogs.
All rubbish and tab ends are to be taken away by the anglers.
Any angler caught deliberately littering will be banned.
Any angler caught leaving the gates to the lake open will be banned.
Children under 16 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult, and remain with their responsible adult for the whole duration of their visit.
Children under 12 should wear a suitable life jacket at all times. Children not wearing a life jacket, do so at the discretion of their responsible adult and the management will not accept any responsibility for any injury or death to a child as a result of not wearing a suitable life jacket.
A limited number of Life jackets for children can be hired (must be pre-booked, subject to availability) for £5 a day with an additional £5 deposit that will be returned on receipt of the life jacket in the same condition it was hired out at the end of your session. Deposit will not be refunded if life jackets are damaged.
Where possible, please keep to all designated paths. Do not walk around the Lake near the edges, as soft edges could collapse without warning.
Anglers must not not climb up the mounds surrounding the lake. Anyone caught breeching this rule either in person or on CCTV will be asked to leave and not offered a refund.
If you have any fish welfare concerns, such as snagged line, please contact a bailiff, John 07715850425 or Jimbo 07834466360 it's not a problem.
You must be in possession of a current valid EA rod licence Spot checks will be carried out. Any person found not abiding by the rules will be asked to leave and/or banned. If you see any angler leaving any rubbish please report this to a bailiff.
The owner of Welbeck Lake (James Mason) accepts no responsibility or liability for any death or injury caused while anglers are on my property.
Anyone who receives a ban, will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.
Security
The whole of the lake, carpark, all gates and my property are monitored by CCTV with 24 hr recording in operation and will be used only to evidence violations of the Lake rules.
Myself and any bailiffs will not tolerate any threatening or violent behaviour. Any such behaviour will result in the offending
person/persons being reported to the police and will receive a lifetime ban.
The owner (Jimbo) will be available to contact at any time between 0700 and 2200 on 07834466360.
Outside of these hours I will be contactable on the above number only in an emergency.
Under no circumstances should anyone try to contact me by entering my private property that is enclosed by the high wooden fence.
Please confirm and acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree by the rules and conditions above by confirmation upon arrival.

Guests are allowed.
For private hire of the whole lake, means you get complete private and sole use of the entire venue. Guaranteed privacy for your whole group for up to a maximum of 10 people.
Exclusivity through the week is generally a quieter time for daily individual bookings, hence a one off payment per group of £75.
Exclusivity on a weekend is more higher in demand and a more busier time for daily individual bookings hence a one off payment per group of £125.
Exclusivity for a whole week is a one off payment of £150 per group.

All fishing is to be paid for in full before starting to fish. If there is no bailiff there to give payment to, then money should be deposited in an envelope with your name, date, time and duration (12 or 24 hrs) on, into my letter box on my house wooden gates.
These rules may be amended any time and they will be updated on this website and my FB group when any amendments are made.
